Guatemala Alta Luz comes from a smallholder farmers’ association working across the remote mountain communities of Huehuetenango. Founded in 2015, the association was created to unify producers and place their coffees in international markets at fair prices. Today, ASOPCE represents approximately 450 smallholder producers. Women represent approximately 30% of membership. This coffee was grown using organic practices by certified organic producers at origin.
